Cinnamon Teal Vital Rates Study

Over the last three years (2012-2014) our company has assisted the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) San Luis Valley (SLV) Refuge Complex and the Region 6 Division of Migratory Bird Management in waterfowl banding efforts throughout the San Luis Valley.  Project efforts are focused on improving the the USFWS's understanding of the distribution and population status of cinnamon teal throughout the flyways.


Abiotic Overview: Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge

In 2006, WEST was contracted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to conduct an abiotic assessment of the abiotic influencing the biotic conditions of wetland sites located in Units N and N1 of the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge.
